Anonymous asked: I heard that goats milk helps? Not sure if you had heard that before. I'm not sure how you apply it but I just heard it from friends who have experienced eczema. I assume you bathe in it or something....

I’ve heard this before yeah, but never really tried it :/ I’ll have to give it a shot :) Thank you! xx

This really hurts. I know why I’ve had a flare up, and I’ve put all my creams on, but it’s not gunna go away before I go to Uni and it sucks.

My eczema has yet again flared up, and in real life it’s more red. I want to post this because I still want people to be aware of eczema. The amount of people in the street/shops who have come up to me and made snide remarks about my skin is ridiculous and I am getting sick and tired of people’s ignorance.
I am very self-conscious when it comes to my skin, and it’s a very personal thing. I usually wear make-up to cover it up etc. but I feel like I’m just fooling everyone into thinking that I’m confident when really I feel low a lot of the time, just because of the amount of pain eczema causes.
And I would like to say something to the people who bullied me for so long because of this: just because I still feel hurt by your words, doesn’t mean to say you “won”.

Hi, just a few tips I’ve hoarded from having eczema since birth ;-;

I have it on my face, neck, inner elbows, wrists >_<   What really helped a lot is seeing a naturopathic doctor, we found out I had lots of buildup of like mercury and other crap inside me, we detoxed and he finds out through energy-testing what minerals and vitamins my body specifically wants/needs, and there was a HUGE difference. I haven’t had the time to go lately and with so much stress, my skin’s flared up again, but not half as bad as it used to be. Also, go get tested for any allergies if you can!!   Detox with Vitamin C…

I don’t know if the submission ended there or if tumblr was being silly and not let me see the rest, but either way this is great stuff so thank you! :)

New products I’ve been testing:

Glycerin and Rosewater Toner

(Click ^ to see and buy product) Been using this for over a week, twice a day, and unlike most toners I’ve used, it doesn’t dry my skin out. It keeps it hydrated and cleanses my skin really well. Definite recommendation.

Oil of Evening Primrose with Vitamin E - Rich Moisturising Cream

(Click ^ to see and buy product) I’ve been using this for over a week now, and it’s made such a difference to the texture of my face. It’s made it softer and more silky, giving my face an even texture. It’s cooling too - my face flared up and I applied it, and instantly my skin felt renewed and fresh.

I’m also taking Evening Primrose Oil capsules, twice daily, and that seems to be helping too. My diet is getting healthier (slowly but surely) and gradually my skin is looking much better.

Hope this helps - feel free to keep submitting posts and reviews!

Love,
Antonia

The answer to Eczema!!!

I’ve had Eczema since I was a baby too and 3 years ago when I started going to college, I went to the doctor’s and he gave me a prescription for my Eczema that I had never been given before. I’ve been prescribed so many things and nothing really consistently worked until that day. This cream literally makes it go away by the next day and now I’ve gone from having an extreme case to rarely having it at all. I’m sharing this with all of you because it’s the only thing that literally works and keeps your Eczema away and I’ve tried everything AND THIS IS IT! So ask your doctor for:

Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream USP, .05%

Thank you ! :D

The thing I hate most about having eczema is that one day your skin can be perfect, and you’re really happy because you feel as though you’ve finally found something that will keep your skin from flaring up.

Then you wake up and you’re back to square one because it’s flared up over night, and it hurts like a bitch and you don’t know what to do.

Eugh. I am at a loss. Any suggestions?

I’ve had eczema my whole life, with it flaring up on and off all the time. Well recently, I have cut out dairy and gluten out of my diet. This is actually helping. Yeah, it sucks to find things to eat but it helps with the itching and redness. I had tea with half and half in it after not having dairy for 3 weeks and I woke up the next morning with my eczema horribly flared up. Also help seed and oil helps with it. I take 3 table spoons a day of the hemp oil and my horrible flare is going down. I hope this helps you guys!
